My name is Brittany
Supporting birth became something I was passionate about at a young age, and grew once I started my own journey into parenthood. I saw a need for families to have more support not only during the birth process, but also through conception, pregnancy, birth planning, and postpartum. As my passion for my career grew, so did what I started offering to families. I now offer full birth doula services along with professional birth photography, videography, newborn photography, and beyond.
Education & Certifications
I have a background in nutrition and health. I graduated from Colorado State University in 2011 with my undergraduate degree in nutrition. I then continued on and received my bachelors degree in 2013 from Metropolitan State University of Denver in biology. During that time, I spent 7 weeks working in a hospital in Kenya, where I mainly focused my time in the maternity ward. After college, I worked in organ and tissue donation for over three years before becoming a mother myself. When my first child was around a year old, I did my doula training with Northern Colorado Doula Essentials. I also took Gina Kirby's rebozo training. Since then, I have re-certified through Madriella. I am a self taught, award winning photographer. In the 4 years since I have started my practice, I have supported over 40 families, and I supported over 15 others during my time in Kenya.
